Wahoowa

Daddy was in charge the other day and let me wear my UVA shirt! It's a little snug even though it is a 6 month outfit but I still love it! Daddy even joined Lucy and me on the floor and we had the best time! Wahoowa!

Quick Update

Just a couple of quick updates:

First, I rolled over from my back to my stomach for the first time yesterday! I was just playing on my mat and when my legs flew to one side and the rest of my body followed! Daddy jumped off the couch in disbelief and told me that I am such a big girl! Now he will have to try to catch in on tape so everyone can see my new trick!

Secondly, I forgot to mention this in my previous blog but I am now wearing 6 months and even some 9 months clothes! I'm just so long that only those big sizes will fit! My dream of being a pro tennis player is looking good!

Lastly, Mommy and Daddy finally caught my book reading on tape. Check out these videos of me reading. I put the LOUD in reading ALOUD!

The first 100 days.

If the president is graded on how well he did during his first 1oo days in the White House, then I should be graded on my first 100 days of life! The pundits (i.e. Mommy and Daddy) have watched my every move with a skeptical eye and their reports are in. By everyone's account, I'm excelling in every category! Daddy is so impressed with my progress that he even calls me a "keeper!"

Here's a recap of some of my biggest accomplishments in the past couple of weeks:

1. I'm reading at approximately the 4th grade level. I love to read my books, either by myself or with Mommy or Daddy. My favorite books are Goodnight Moon and Baby's 1st Red Sox Book.

I love to sit in my high chair and read my books.

Other times, I just roll around the ground with them and eat them.

I can turn the pages all by myself!

If I'm a good girl, Mommy and I will read books together!

2. I'm a big girl. I'm getting bigger and stronger everyday! People are amazed at all of my feats of strength and dexterity. I've talked about my rolling over before but I can do so much more!

Mommy showing off how long I am.

I can reach for my feet and grab them with both hands. Yes, I'm ambidextrous!

I can sit up in a big girl's chair all by myself and play with my toys.

Soon I'll be riding Lucy without any help from Mommy.

I'm also learning how to break dance.

I like to move it move it!

I can make my musical flo
wers play. It makes me so happy!

3. I have two teeth. It's tough to catch them on camera, but believe it or not, my two bottom teeth are coming in! At this rate, I'll have a full grill by the time I am 6 months old.

Ever since those teeth came in, I've been sucking on my lower lip all day, every day!

Sometimes, I'll stick my whole fist or whatever I can reach in my mouth!

As you can see, I'm becoming such a big girl and you'll agree that the first 100 days has been a huge success! I'll leave you with a few more photos because as you can see, I love the camera and the camera loves me!

Let's hope that the next 100 days are as exciting and joyous as the first 100!

Movie time!

Grab a bag of your favorite chips (I like Baked Lays), sit back in your favorite chair and enjoy because it's movie time! Let the show begin!

I love to talk...

...and eat my fists!

Can you hear me now?

I got to see my big cousin Michael for the first time!

Mommy, sings the best songs.
