Let's Go Sox!

Daddy and I are ready for this weekend's big series against the Yankees. The Sox are hot right now and they need to do well this weekend!

Real Sox fans where pink.

Here I am practicing my "Yooouuukkk!" chant!

New hobbies (or obsessions)

Much to Mommy's and Daddy's dismay, I have two new hobbies that keep them on their toes! Whenever I'm free to roam the floor, I'm usually going to try to do one of the following:

1. Pull up on everything! Now that I have discovered how to pull up to standing, I will do it everywhere! The couch, kitchen chairs, trunk, and of course, my toys are all fair game.

2. Playing with the dog bowls! I don't know if its the thrill of the forbidden or simply imitating my doggies, but I love the dog bowls! They make the best sound when you bang on them and if you're lucky, you can splash water all over the place!

Hello!

Hello...
Hello...
Hello!

Hello everyone!

As you can see, I'm getting to be such a big girl! I'm now 7 months old and I can do all sorts of new tricks. I can waive "hello," get into out of sitting position, pull up to my knees and even pull up to standing. My favorite new tricks are eating my mum-mum crackers all by myself and playing catch with Daddy.

How's this for upper body strength?!

Here's how I unwind after a busy day.

My 1/2 birthday!

A few weeks ago I celebrated my half birthday! I'm growing up so fast! I can now do so many things that I once thought were impossible like getting on my hands and knees, crawling, eating real food (as long as Daddy doesn't try to feed me... I won't touch any food from his hands!), drinking out of a straw-cup, etc. Before you know it, I'll be walking around!

I had my 6 month checkup at the doctor's and I'm doing just fine. I now weigh 18 lbs, 5 oz and measure 26 3/4 inches long, which are both over the 85th percentile mark. The best news of all is that my head size is now back on the charts at the 97th percentile mark! My body is slowly catching up to my big noggin.

As a treat to both myself and Mommy, we had a photo shoot to show off my good looks. You can see all the pictures here but I've included some in this post for your viewing pleasure. If I know my readers, you won't be able to look at them enough!

Me and my lovey!

Did you know that I have 6 teeth now!

I even let Mommy and Daddy in on a few of the pictures.

Sweet smile...Piggy smile.

Trip to Massachusetts (or why does every guy in Hudson have a mustache?)

As you may know, last month I took a trip to Massachusetts to see Avo, Vava, and all of the family on Daddy's side. I've been so busy since then that I'm just now getting to write about it. What can I say, I'm a busy girl!

The trip to Massachusetts was fabulous! I got to take my first trip on an airplane and Mommy and Daddy were so pleased with how well I did! I got a bottle and some food on the flight, but I spent most of the time playing and flirting with all of the other passengers. The flight was short and once I arrived in Beantown, I took a nap on the drive to Avo's.

Me and my avo and vava!

I spent the first few days just hanging out, playing with Avo and Vava, and meeting a bunch of relatives that I didn't even know existed! Everybody was amazed at how big and skilled I am, but most of all, they were amazed at how happy I am!

Four generations in a row.

I'm always the center of attention!

Me with one of my hundred of great aunts!

Now the one thing that puzzled me about Hudson, was that every man that I met had the most peculiar thing on their face above their lips. Daddy tells me that it's called a "mustache" and it's a Hudson-thing. It took me a while to get used to this whole "mustache" thing but I did eventually and even learned to love them. Maybe Daddy should try to grow one???

I'm not sure about this thing...

I love the purse, but I'm not too sure about the 'stache...

A 'stache above and below the lips? I can't handle that!

In addition to hanging out with family, I got to go to the pool and the beach for the first time ever! The pool was a blast and was perfect for me. The beach, on the other hand, was a bit overwhelming. However, I loved lounging around Avo's and Vava's beach cottage!

Vava took me for a walk along the coast.

The sun, sand, and waves were all too much for me!

My favorite part was the big red couch in the cottage...

...and my fashion show! Don't you love my fabulous hat?!

Hanging out on the floor amusing myself.

The week in Massachusetts flew by way too quickly. I had so much fun and I can't wait to go back! Here are so more random pictures from my big trip. Enjoy!

Just for Mommy

While Mommy was away in D.C. for the weekend, I've been working on my crawling so that I'll be ready to show off my moves when she comes back. Here are some photos and videos showing off my progress!

One my hands and knees, ready to go!

Pushups!

Doing some yoga!
